JEFFERSONTOWN: Jeffersontown Bible Church

Jeffersontown Bible Church was established as the result of the first ever cooperative effort between IFCA International and one of its own Church Extension Agencies (MCE). The church is served by missionary team of Larry and Susan Duncan. It meets in a retail strip mall store front in downtown Jeffersontown (Metro-Louisville). "J-town" has been incorporated into Louisville, KY making Louisville the 16th largest city in America with over 1.2 million people. The demographics of the community vary widely, creating a whole set of “sub-communities” within the Louisville Metro area. There is a large Roman Catholic presence and a notable lack of solid expositional preaching and teaching among the Protestant churches, creating a great need for a strong, solid Bible church.
Under the direction of Pastor Larry Duncan, and in association with Tyndale Seminary in Fort Worth TX, the church hosts a Tyndale Learning Center, offering Bible courses to the community.
Sensing a call to pastoral ministry as early as his Sophomore year of High School, Larry has a love for the study and proclamation of the Word of God. He has been to Russia with SGA, teaching in their Strategic Bible Institute. Larry enjoys challenges, is a Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines fan and, according to at least one family member, has an interesting sense of humor.
