Henry A. Vosburgh has served as a church planter since 1988. He began his ministry as a missionary pastor under the former Indiana Bible Church Mission after completing his ministry training at Bob Jones University (1987). He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Bible with a minor in Ancient Language, magna cum laude. He also recently completed his Master of Biblical Studies degree with Tyndale Theological Seminary, and is working on a Doctor of Ministry through the same institution.
In 1993, Henry was appointed to serve as the Indiana mission’s General Director. Then in addition to that board, Henry accepted a 1998 invitation to also serve as the General Director of the former Illinois Bible Church Mission. Then in 2003, it was agreed that he would also work as a representative for the Wisconsin Church Extension agency.
It was during that year Henry led the effort to merge these three church planting agencies to become what is now called Midwest Church Extension, which he now serves as Executive Director. This new agency officially launched its ministry in January 2004. MCE serves the five states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Henry has also been an active member of IFCA International throughout his ministry, having been actively involved as the National Chairman of the Church Extension Council from 2000-2006. He presently serves as the chairman of the Vision America Leadership Team. He shares the IFCA’s commitment to biblical ministry, doctrinal integrity, and evangelistic fervor; and he desires to extend the influence of IFCA International to as many Midwestern communities as the Lord allows.
Henry’s duties as MCE Executive Director include: 1) the oversight of the mission’s church plant projects; 2) the research / planning for new target areas needing IFCA churches; 3) the ministry training and consultation for MCE churches and pastors; 3) the representation of MCE at churches, colleges, regionals, and conventions; and, 4) the provision of ministry services to Midwestern churches and pastors.

Dan Nave
Field Director & Internship Overseer
Dan Nave is an MCE Field Director He also serves as the missionary pastor of Heritage Bible Church in Remington IN and he oversees the MCE Internship Program. Heritage Bible Church has played a key role in hosting interns for the Mission.
Dan and his wife Cheryl joined MCE in 2004 when he came to pastor the church plant in Remington. He served in two ministries previous to that. One was as the Senior Pastor of Huggard Bible Church, Sand Lake, MI, from 1993-2003. And before that as the Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church, Lowell, MI, from 1989-1993
Dan was an electrician/maintenance man for 12 years before attending Bible college at age 30. He still enjoys being a ‘handy-man’ and collecting tools. He built a new house in 1999, and did major renovations to their present home in 2005. Dan is also a car enthusiast, but it’s limited to looking and admiring, rather than owning.
The Naves were married as teenagers, and have three married children, who are actively serving God. They also have 4 grandchildren. God has burdened the heart of the Naves for ministry to people, both saved and unsaved, but who have been estranged from fellowship.
